30th Anniversary Trip
In 2020, Jonathan and I decided to celebrate our 30th anniversary with a trip to Scandinavia. In addition, he planned to use our time in Denmark to do research for a Fulbright application. We used inheritance money from his parents and had the trip completely planned when Covid hit and cancelled the entire journey. Now two years later, we finally took our trip, this time to Great Britain, Paris, and Sweden! We just returned on Friday, and I will be blogging about our experiences. Some of you may remember that I wrote a series of Facebook posts in 2020 about our virtual trip to Scandinavia, in real time as if we were there. Some people thought I was really there! The feedback from these Facebook posts was so positive that I've decided to write a travelogue about the real trip we just took. (I didn't do it in actual time because it's not wise to advertise publicly when one is out of town.) Bon Voyage! Mary
